Features Side 1 and Side 2 (AIFF 24bit/44.100 kHz) plus the front and back LP covers and the LP labels (side 1 and 2). Ortofon 2m blue stylus on a Duel 1218 record player into Kenwood KA-6100 receiver stereo out into Mobile Pre USB into Mac/Logic Pro. Not the best pressing I've ever heard, but certainly is a nice listen. Enjoy!

Thank you, sirpaulstarling!
I appreciate this opportunity to compare and contrast.
With Beatles records, we don't know why or how...
but interesting things have been pressed into retail units.
I guess the employees weren't listening either!
Nice work!

The mono pressing also lacks the Count-in, according to 'The Beatles Mixes' book by Holger Scholer and Thorsten Schmidt a very interesting read.

@ants they also say that the ending of I Want You (She's So Heavy) faded out in the first Italian pressing and has alternate stereo separation than the UK stereo pressing.
I concur with that "Taxman" with no intro is also on the Mono Mexican pressing LEM 056, Taxman is not a different mix, only the intro was trimmed

Sometimes it is less, sometimes it is more more like the hi-hat intro on ´All My Loving´ on the german LP

Except most people splice the hi hat into onto a regular All My Loving version these days, but if you compare the timings of the original hi hat and original ragular mix - different lengths for starters. Different takes of edits? They don't really sync.

In case that's of any interest to anyone, I'm from France, I have a cassette tape of "Revolver", bought in 1990. The cover art is standard, but the cassette itself was made in France, and it also features the abridged version of "Taxman" without the count-in.

And my cassette version of Abbey Road from the same era has a very quick fade-in on the beginning of "Come Together".

Oh, and I also have a slightly older tape cassette of "Sgt. Pepper", also French, that reads "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Banb" on the side !
