Thanks to some of the guidance from members on this very forum, I've finally put some of it to the test in some demixes of Rubber Soul songs. My goal was to try and create a sort of modern stereo spread that has the same sound as the mono mix (hence the toned down cowbell on Drive My Car). I'd love some feedback if possible. The sources for these are the MFSL DESS rips, by the by. Not because I covet those releases but because they provided a nice, clear, blank slate for remixing (using Demucs3 Model B). Lots of midrange added back to each track (though individually EQ'd based on their needs), bass track EQ'd on both to sound more like the bass on post-1966 recordings. Panned at most to 80% in Audacity to avoid any hard left/hard right.
