In unrelated news:
I am happy to present the most recent find in my 25 year search for pictures and footage that show The Beatles on Ed Sullivan during performance (or rehearsal) that also shows the audience. This picture shows the most audience members of any photo(or footage) that I've seen. If you have anything that shows more of the audience AND The Beatles, please share it. This picture is from Miami Beach show (although this might be the rehearsal)...also, I just noticed the person seated near the boom mic appears to be Ed Sullivan! THAT means that this is the first picture that shows Ed, The audience, the crew AND the Beatles DURING the performance! I must admit, that I am happy to be wrong about my theory that the shows were taped in front of the crew only. Please help by sharing ANY similar pics. There aren't that many. Disregard any photos from photo op day in New York!

Following your prior posting of almost anonymous Beatles on stage for the Ed Sullivan Show, this one is a gem.

Seeing Ed close by makes me think it might be the rehearsal but I may be wrong. Almost 60 years later I doubt someone could tell when the picture was taken.

Keep up your search KC you are getting ose to the whole truth, nothing but the truth.
