Hi Guys Greetings from "Sunny Cyprus"Firstly, I don't own a 5.1 surround system, but have been following the many various reviews written about the "All Things Must Pass 50th anniversary" release in all it's various different audio formats.
Having said that, I have the 5.1 surround mixes too, but obviously cannot play them properly so don't know what I am missing
Anyway I have been compiling my own "alternative version" of the main album (but without the Jam sessions stuff) which I have just finished and posted a track a few days ago (I'd Have you Anytime) One thing that I wanted to do, was enhance the "horn overdubs" on this track and so I have used a mix of different audio files and created a sort of hybrid affair... So without further ado - here is my alternative version which is quite "punchy" and
the low register "horn" (trumpet or whatever it is-
please excuse my ignorance) seems to fit nicely with the soaring pitch of the guitar solos taken from the 5.1 surround files Hope you enjoy
