Re: McCartney 1 2 3 Documentary

I just finished watching all 6 Episodes and I have to say that the black and white setting seems befitting the topic......music. I didn't find it at all pretentious as some seem to find it to be. I thought it added a bit of atmosphere visually considering the topics being discussed. I think it keeps the viewer focused on the topic at hand rather than looking around the screen and not paying much attention to the discussion.

I found Paul to be rather relaxed and honest for the first time in a long time talking about his recording techniques with the Beatles. I also found it a bit refreshing that he now looks at Beatles music as a fan rather than a participant in most cases. Obviously it is hard to look at a body of work you helped create from an outsiders perspective but all in all I thought it was a well done piece, but as always, we fans would always desire things to contain more content or be longer. In this particular case the series should have been at least 10 episodes to really grasp the complete picture...as there were a lot of things left out or not discussed at all.

Perhaps by design? Who knows.....all in all.....a nice viewing experience.

Has circulated for like, ever...but I can't be sure about the mix, so I left it in...and I really like the track.

Whereas, the Ed Sullivan Yesterday seems the same, and there's nothing new on the studio multitracks and everyone and their dog has heard the dream story.

Here are patches to identify the live performances included:

Simply delete the old files in the given episode and replace with these.

Also, folx -- I would encourage you please as you re-watch the series if you feel so inclined, however you do, to suggest things I missed or make transfers of your own.

Glad to be of service to the community,

Hopefully the last one -- Rain now correctly composed by Lennon and McCartney, and Four Eyes in Ep. 1 has the "Paul Talks About" prefix.

Sorry for the millions of small changes -- I only do it because I love having tags be fully accurate as a downloader/reciever.

Two more fluffs in Episode 4:

1. Baby's In Black should also credit All I Have To Do Is Dream by The Everly Brothers, composed by Boudleaux Bryant.

and

2. No "Water Walk" by John Cage segment.

The first I could post later, but the Cage stuff might need a re-edit from my original episode rip.

Right now, I need a nap...
