These are fun! Thanks! The Beatles' 1964 Vancouver show was one of the first bootlegs I purchased. I bought it at DiscConnection in Westwood along with The Black Album and Led Zeppelin For Badgeholders Only. The Vancouver album was a double LP. The first LP comprised the press conference and realtime radio coverage. The second LP was the rest of the radio coverage and the soundboard recording.
My favorite part of this is the radio coverage in realtime of The Beatles ending their set, dropping their instruments, and high-tailing it backstage and into an awaiting motorcade, whisked off-site before anyone knew what hit em. Impressive! A close second to that is when the MC interrupted the show after Roll Over Beethoven, admonishing the fans to sit down or the concert would be cancelled.
Those were some dire times, eh?
