This tape contains a 30 minute special on Otis Redding called "Remembering Otis" which combined performance footage and recollections by Steve Cropper and Booker T. Jones. It was made by D. A. Pennebaker.

The second film featured on the tape is a 37 minute rough cut of John Lennon & The Plastic Ono Band's 1969 performance in Toronto. A film that was also shot by D. A. Pennebaker.

The John Lennon Totonto film was to run under the title "Cinemax Vintage Performances: John Lennon". HBO was the parent company of Cinemax.

Both videos are included in this download.

Thanks for aquiring, transferring and sharing this. I hear more Yoko than on the commercial VHS too.

No problem! I tried to get the John and Yoko on David Frost VH-1 VHS tape from eBay but I was outbid in the end. So no go on that one.
