1975 Perth press conference

Although Chip Madinger and Marc Easter write in "Eight Arms to Hold You" that Wings' press conference in Perth took place on 2 November, available footage appears to indicate that it was in fact held on the day of the concert, 1 November: Paul and Linda are wearing the same clothes at the press conference as they do in the raw footage showing them leaving their hotel before the concert and backstage after the concert.
Can anyone confirm that the press conference was in fact held before the concert on 1 November (which would jive with Paul's habit of holding his press junkets before rather than after the concert when he only played one date in a particular city) rather than on the 2nd?
