Great collection! Much appreciated. Funny that it doesn't complete until the dissolution of the group and ends in January 1969. There is no logical explanation.

That's because this is technically not a "director's cut," it's a "rough cut," and that's as far as they got (or as much that got out).

It's a great set, and it brings alot of thoughts back to mind.

One of them is that I always wished someone would do a composite set of this and the released Anthology,
perhaps with the 2009 remaster short videos integrated.

The other thought has been expressed here by 2 others already; specifically that 1969 is by far the most unsatisfying portion of this epic,
both on the Directors Cut and released version. You would think that more, not less choice material would be available from the later dates.
Lack of video content on the Abbey Rd deluxe set was likewise disappointing.

I have the DVDs (copies) from years ago but am glad for this download which allows me to put it all on a hard drive and plug it directly into my TV.

There was a 5 min teaser of Remastered Anthology Director's Cut. It was posted on Bootlegzone in 2008 (I guess).

But the full version wasn't released.
