The 1966 Tour dates were a complete shambles...
Not a single venue or airport or hotel that could provide stealthy protection to and from the stage.
Los Angeles didn't even know how to behave in Dodger Stadium.
Could ANY performer be expected to tolerate this much torture?
Capitol should have sponsored a bonfire in the parking lot on Vine St.
Regardless, it couldn't have been any fun for fans...
But possibly the last vestige of Hope was the San Francisco Stadium
and a rented armored vehicle.
56 years ago and a routine that was anything but...
