Mark, did you also produce the artwork for the Cathode Ray Tube Collection? This is so great! The guy sitting in his room on his sofa, listening to the latest Beatle record. New year, new girl friend, new record. Fantastic!

I did yes. I used a piece of art from the Alan Aldridge Illustrated Beatles lyrics book and vandalised it. I loved the atmosphere of that room and felt a bit guilty messing with it! Every cover has an issue of the Beatles Monthly from the time period it covers, on the TV is a screenshot from something lncluded on that volume, the posters that go up on the wall should all have been available to put up had it been a real living room, a current Beatles record from the period covered is visible in each cover, on the mantle piece above the fire is the occupiers current girlfriend (when they spilt up he rips up the photo into two) - at the end of 1964 he tries out having a boyfriend but then decides it's not for him - it was a phase, no photo means he was single during that period, Cilla Black can be seen passing by the window, later it's Mick Jagger pulling a moony of sorts, then Alfred Hitchcock, Peter Cooke and Dudley Moore, then Syd Barrett, he has a pot of cactuses which then die and he replaces it with a Venus Fly Trap.

I had great fun doing them. Glad you 'got it'!

They were ripped off though and put in one boxset which butchered one cover which looks nasty:

Hello everyone, The Cathode Ray Tube collection is active but the Unsurpassed Promos are not. Could someone make them available? In addition, there are three other titles from this label that I did not know about.

I am on holiday at the moment. When I'm back home next week I'll search on my hard drives if I can find them. I burnt the DVDs and printed the artwork, and they are still on my shelf. So I can't promise if I can find them digitally, but if I do I'll try to upload.
