So hard to be sure when the image is so blurry, but possibly Courtenay Road, in Teignmouth?

Yes, as you say it's a difficult one. Not sure about Teignmouth as the road seems to be on an incline judging from the front gardens walls.

I thought it could be Wooton Grove in Sherborne but the front gardens don't look long enough:
I reckon it's here in Ivybridge. Although that would make it from the 12th September (I always assumed the rainy footage was from the 11th)

Sn00ker,

I think your right; see the wall along B3213 and the electric pole at the corner. I spotted the place but wasn't too sure but since you picked it up, I think it's the spot we were where looking for.

Excellent work Fl.

I think we now need some more outtakes to come into circulation 🙂.

Unfortunately not re-enactable today - the stone pillar went some years ago, and it is pouring with rain.

I'd like to think two people will be passing along here on the T2 bus today, and suddenly erupt into an argument about who paid for the tickets etc.

And there are still some loose ends...

Image

It could be the Grand Union Canal bridge in Uxbridge, it fits with the 'route' and the curvature of the bridge seems right; cars vanish on the footage and also on google maps. But the environment has completely changed or not?

The Swan & Bottle is still there, and their sign at the end or beginning of the bridge also...

So, a bit of a guess, any ideas?

This is a tough one. As you say this has probably been redeveloped beyond recognition. There's a few canal or train crossings that it could be.

The Swan & Bottle 1969 ( YouTube) if any help for the sign....

The any suggestions on the AA box?

My idea so far; Blackdown Hills, Monkton near Honiton. Problems, skyline don't exactly match, it is not on the route, riding in the wrong direction (Perhaps the 11th? perhaps the footage is mirrored?)

Well I don't think it's Monkton anymore.... so, forget about it.
