Just resurrecting the original question for the whereabouts of this location. Still bugging me.

Could this be the location, what do people think?

The route of the old road is on the right in the foreground, the bend and the hedge-line look convincing. There's no town in the distance due to the overgrown trees, the town behind the trees is Tonbridge which looks like it's been largely rebuilt since.

Could you give some explanation ? I can't seen it ( yet). If the town is Tonbridge it should be possible to locate some buildings I think.
And before the 'crossroad' ;is it a path or is it a brick wall ?

We really need someone who is familiar with the area.
Matching buildings in the distance is difficult as the A21 is there now so probably a lot of changes.
I know cameras fore-shorten (is that the correct term?) things but would Tonbridge have been visible from there?
Not sure if the "crossroads" is just a driveway to a house.

I don't suppose someone could get a higher resolution grab of this shot from the film?

Many thanks Doug. Probably not Tonbridge then. It's such a distinct town in the distance, and we've found much more obscure locations...... very frustrating 🙂

What you have circled with the caption "road?" actually appears to me to be the roof of a long building with a circular section at the right-hand end.
