Re: AROUND THE BEATLES
This is better quality than my quasi-legal DVD of the show. There was no label to it, but they included Washington and Tokyo on it. Deep red cover and factory pressed disc. Was great value ay the time.

Re: AROUND THE BEATLES
This was one of a number of Beatles films you could buy legally on 16mm in the 70s. They all had an Apple logo at the start. Some of he others were:
Shea Stadium
Washington
The first Sullivan show
Hollywood Bowl (first three songs)
Tokyo (striped suits)
I had a comic from the 70s which had a full page ad... must have a look for it!
In 1984 I found a pirate vhs (actually, three pirate vhs) from "Hollywood Box Office" with all these films on it. They were rental only so I dragged my family's vcr over to my sister's place and copied them all to a three hour tape. Man, I was a ROCK STAR among my Beatle friends because of that tape. It was like gold dust, and good quality too (well, for that time anyway). They also used to have public showings of these films too and I went several times, but I was always glad that when I got home I could stick my precious tape on.
