Come Together. When I heard that just after my 11th birthday, it was like the bottom of the world dropped out. I'd never heard anything like it before, or since. It made me want to learn how to play guitar, bass and drums so that someday, I might be able to play something somewhere near as fascinating. I also started listening to and buying copies of all other rock music I could find in case there was anything else as good.

I am the Walrus - bought the single when I was about 12 in 1982. Listened to it on headphones over and over again until my ears were red hot. Still love it now. In fact, it's my fav song of all time. I never tire of it
