John saying "Yoko" in 1963... just weird

Post by Lord Reith »

A few days ago I realised for the first time that in the song Too Much Monkey Business, John is singing "Been to Yokohama, been fightin' in the war"

Really quite strange. Like a bearded Let It Be era Paul being caught on the set of A Hard Day's Night.

Yeah I realise that but it's still just wrong hearing him say Yoko in 1963. Now when I hear that song I keep imagining her in a bed in the corner of the studio.

Imagine Yoko interjections in Soldier Of Love, or To Know Her Is To Love Her.

Yoko interjections in place of John's "not half" in the Sheik of Araby. Renamed to Shriek of Araby.
