She Said She Said, who is playing the bass?

Just for fun and maybe solve a minor mystery, just who is playing bass on She Said She Said.

Macca says he walked out of the session though we hear him on take 15. The theory is it's probably George
but Giles Martin still thinks it's Paul.

I'd be fascinated to hear your thoughts..

it's Ringo on drums for sure but on bass for me it doesn't sound like Paul, maybe he was not inspired that day

It sounds like Paul to me but it's not impossible George played bass and Paul played guitar.

Or it could be Chas Newby.

Since George is doing the vocal harmonies on the song and there is no trace of Paul's voice, maybe Paul just got confused about what he failed to contribute?

Wasn't there a reference to She Said in the "flowerpot conversation" in Get Back? Some remarks about the song which indicated that there clearly was some kind of disagreement over something with Paul. But i don't think it would have been the bass. Maybe he wanted to add more complex vocals and John wanted to keep it simple?
