I have some recordings and thought it would be fun to make my own MINI-LPs to put the CDs in. Maybe single or gatefold cardboard covers...just like those mini-LP releases you see these days in boxes and releases in Japan.
Does anyone have a source that sells the blank cardboard sleeves (gatefold and/or single album)? I figure I could print my covers on adhesive print stock and roll them onto these blank covers. If I line it up well, I could make a wraparound so SPINE print could be included, too.
problem is I cannot find a source that seels the blank stock these companies use for their mini-LP CD releases. Does anyone have any info for me?
thank you!
steve

Re: I want to make my own MiniLP's for some CD recordings.
I googled "generic cardboard CD sleeves" and this was top of the list.
https://www.duplication.ca/Recycled-Car ... or-CD.html <-----(these are not notched as above...just plain single disc cardboard sleeves)
I know it's a bit different design but it is thick stock paper. No room for spine and no gatefolds, but I only spent 30 seconds on it!
If I see a better one, I will send you a link. I bought many econo-line CD-R boots and they had the sleeves you are describing. They used shrink wrap around colored paper copy machine slip sheets for artwork. They are a pain in the ass to get the disc out of. They were too tight and you have to grab the surface with thumb and index finger. That is probably a design flaw that got corrected.
Good luck

I'm not looking for mailers or recycled storage - covers like these that I can find in the USA.
