Okay, maybe George did mean to sing "fit women" then!
On one of the BBC versions he changed "everbody" to "everydoby" so we know he could indulge in a bit of wordplay when the urge took him.
When I was a kid I thought he was singing "pip women". For a long time afterwards I went around asking a lot of people what pip women were.
