Hey, Folks -
Just curious... Has anyone ever assembled "Beatles albums" made up of 1) 1960's Beatles covers and 2) original recordings that the Beatles themselves covered?
For example, re-creating Beatles For Sale, it might look something like this:
01 "No Reply" by Tony & The Diamonds
02 "I'm A Loser" by Marianne Faithfull
03 "Baby's In Black" by The Applejacks
04 "Rock And Roll Music" by Chuck Berry
05 "I'll Follow The Sun" by The Brothers Four
Etc, etc...
1960's covers would be my preference. Has anyone ever encountered a collection like this? Thoughts?

There was a set that I found a few years ago called Beatles Recovering with all their albums done by other artists.
Here's the first five albums

The best way would be to upload a public playlist to youtube or spotify. Then everyone can enjoy it and the artists will get paid.

Thanks, Lord. Good idea. That might make for an interesting side project for the future...Lord Reith wrote: ↑Mon Apr 26, 2021 12:11 am The best way would be to upload a public playlist to youtube or spotify. Then everyone can enjoy it and the artists will get paid.
