It’s funny how most of these early albums have the 1967 photo on them… If you look in the gatefold of the official Hollywood bowl released from the 70s, you will notice one of these on there… I worked for about a week with the guy who designed that album package, and pointed out to him! He had never even noticed.
Are these eight-track tapes,that engage the capstan and motor after they're inserted in the player, or four-track tapes that have a hole underneath where the player's idler wheel comes up to press the tape against the capstan? The latter is how radio tape cartridges worked up until they were outmoded by digital sound files.
