The idiots over at Fab! have stolen Lord Reith's new Star Club mix and are selling it. I'm sick of people getting robbed money from idiots like Fab! or DAP and Sgt Records. This thread is to report on boots that have stolen content from this forum to warn people.

That's the nature of the beast I suppose. Let's be honest: 99% of Lord Reith's work comes from previously issued bootlegs, albeit with work applied to improve the sound or create new tracks for us all to enjoy.
The issue of charging for that work is a matter for the holders of the copyright which, as far as I know, is not owned by anyone here.

The vast majority of collectors do not download, they only collect silvers or at the very least CDr’s.
So who are we to deny the vast majority of collectors the right to hear this stuff. We are but just a tiny blip in the full scope of things.
You could also look at it from the other side.....every bootleg shared here for free, is ripping the bootleggers off!

Re: The Bootleged From BeatlegDB Thread
That's why I never understood why people would wait forever to share bootleg material. New material or not, those people don't really own the material they have, most of the time they aren't even leaking the full thing of their sources so they can leak the same material over and over again with 5 to 15 extra seconds. People will be all 'oh they won't keep finding new material' or 'they won't put out more releases' - We aren't the only suckers out there forking out $60 for TMOQ extra few seconds of scraps. Then someone else gets the same source and claims their's is better and so on and so on. Are they still playing us for suckers? Of course! How many acetates that have been auctioned do we still only have seconds or nothing of yet? A feww. Will we see them? Not for a while. These clever schmucks know no one will get scammed $60 for a few extra seconds per acetate as long as people are blowing money on box sets. Meanwhile the pawn shop bootleggers with the lower IQ's rip off work done by those that love the music. So there you have it Two types of bootleggers of the modern day. Money greedy pig bootleggers hoarding what they got, and Pawn shop bootleggers that lack any value in life or intelligence so they rip off music lovers that shared music for free.

-i know is a really gray Area, it has happened for years since vinyl times (been there=, but at least they should be crediting the original creator, true, LR and others had worked over previously unreleased material and improved it, while others provide fresh new material, but at least a thank you note to the creators or "improvers" would´ve been nice, they are making money on the work of others, but that is the reason there are "private" circles with a circle of trust, that are not sharing material not available for the rest of us, thanks to these hoarderswalrus gumboot wrote: ↑Sun Oct 24, 2021 1:42 pm Sarcasm Alert....Wow, bootleggers bootlegging bootlegers...shock horror

I don't like it, but if they weren't selling our stuff they'd just be selling fake watches or sneakers or Vitamin Supplements . There's no shortage of people in the world looking for easy money.

Now DAP have stolen Lord Reith's 'The Quiet Album', apparently produced by 'overseas Beatles sound source collectors'...
