Not me, but my brother thought that in Dig A Pony, whenever they'd sing the prolonged "because", that they were singing "Beatles" (I guess he figured people needed to know who was singing the song).
Everything has got to be just like you want it to

Re: Misheard Beatle Lyrics
I used to think John was singing, "Anna, just one more finger."
Because I was a particularly smutty ten year old at the time I knew what "finger" meant and so felt compelled to turn that song down really low when it came on in case my parents heard it.

Re: Misheard Beatle Lyrics
Another good one was my mishearing of "Come and keep your comrade warm" in Back In The USSR.
For years as a child I wondered who Conrad was, and why he was not wearing anything warm.

This one's my favo(u)rite...
AND YOUR BIRD CAN SING
You tell me that you've heard every sound there is
And your bird can swing
But you cat hair me
You cat hair... meeeeeeee.
That one still makes me giggle when I hear it.

Getting Closer
Great track from underrated album but I kept hearing references to “my salamander”.
How incredibly disappointing it was to find out that was actually the real lyric.
Does that count?

To me as a German, this is British humour at it's best. Just like Monty Python, or Benny Hill, or the "Carry On..." series. When I first saw these, I nearly wet myself for laughing.
