Kevin Howlett - SiriusXM/Breakfast with the Beatles

Post by MrMurphMcgee »

I heard this morning that Kevin Howlett will be guest-hosting Breakfast with the Beatles on SiriusXM all next week. I’ll definitely be tuning in.

I’m a big fan of the show Chris Carter does. He’s always got a few surprises to play and he obviously loves playing BBC tracks, which I love. His British Invasion show on Underground Garage on Saturdays is also great.

I will admit to having no shame and asking for a dedication right after my recent surgery. Chris played Getting Better for me.

A week with Howlett should be great.

I have a monthly subscription and then use the app. I believe they offer a free-trial.

In 2015, Chris Carter gave a talk at the NARAS Record Theater Museum about the 50th anniversary of Rubber Soul. I gained much admiration for his knowledge when he brought this part of his own, personal collection to the stage and esteemed it 8-)

Thanks for sharing. Yeah, I’m not expecting anything groundbreaking as the job is to play music and talk less, but I do like that they got someone with pedigree to host.
