I figured I’d start a thread on the soon released Plastic Ono Band multitude headed our way in stores everywhere. I've been very last minute on this, mostly from budgeting not want. I would love to hear what people think when it comes out (and I await a discount down the road.)

THIS out today though had me considering a splurge.

Well, I've got a question concerning the upcoming POB set, maybe somebody can clear it up:

For the deluxe 6CD/2BR set the official announcement (official site) for the ultimate mixes/outtakes section (Disc 2) says:

07. Love/Take 6
14. Instant Karma!(...)/Take 5

The announcement for the 2-CD edition says for Disc 2:

07. Love/Take 8
14. Instant Karma!(...)/Take 1

So, are there really 2 different outtakes on the second disc of the big set and the second disc of the 2-CD edition, or is it just a typo?
Does anybody know?

There are actually 3 different takes of each of these songs on the deluxe box:

Love: Home Demo, Take 6, Take 9
Instant Karma: Studio Demo, Take 1, Take 5

Yep, but I don't mean the demos, I mean the "real" takes. Information is controversial.
At John's official site, the announcement is, that Love tk8 and IK tk1 are on the 2-CD edition, but not on the deluxe box.

Quite looking forward to all this. Lots to take in, but decent quality, and "proper" takes.

Thanks for the pictures, Beatles4you. This is the content of the big deluxe box. Now what I mean is the difference to the 2CD edition.

Interesting (and/or frustrating) to see content (not 5.1 that is) available only via the Blu-Ray. Right off that bat there appear to be a few more demos on the Blu-Ray. Also some outtakes. Bummer. Blu-Ray, though I own one, isn't how I listen to music.

Probably done so that people can't just stream the whole thing for free. Stupid idea.

Ok, below are two pictures with the announced tracklist for the 2CD edition. What I want to know is, if Love (take 8) and Instant Karma (take 1) are unique for the 2CD set, because these two takes are not mentioned for the deluxe box! Or is it just a typo? Does anybody know?
