Recently, I was in Dallas/Fort Worth Airport and heard It's Only Love playing over the loudspeakers, a song I never expected to hear outside of as part of somebody's listen through of all of Help! I also distinctly remember being surprised that my local radio station included Birthday on its regular Beatles lineup.
What about you all? Have you ever been surprised by a deep cut in the wild?

I've been in a pub before, and they were playing the Revolver album, start-to-finish. Just as I was leaving, they started playing the Help! album, start-to-finish.

Wild Honey Pie at the mall in the mid 90s. No idea why it was played. The second would be a song request of Revolution 9 on Q107 in the late 90s. .

You might win. The mental image of all of the wobbly guitars and out-of-tune singing echoing through a shopping mall is incredible.

The Beatles (really Macca) version of Come and Get It at a record store once. Must have been playing anthology?

I heard one channel of Revolution in a restaurant and thought I was hearing an earlier take.
After a minute or so I realized it was just 1/2 of the stereo cv, and that I have been listening to bootlegs for far, far too long.
