Yes, that and the full 12 minutes of Dig It. They'd both make great promotional items in themselves (Christmas and New Year presents perhaps?). Otherwise they'll be sitting on the shelves for another 50 years, to nobody's benefit.

Peter Jackson talks about George quitting the band on Friday 7 Jan 1969 and the Lunchtime tape on Monday 10 Jan were they have a discussion.

Jackson says that Michael Lindsay-Hogg has a very strong memory that there was a discussion on the same day that George quit but Jackson could not find that discussion and there is no missing tape that day. And that the Lunchtime tape had to be Monday.

Well someone please tell Peter that there are missing Nagra rolls on Friday.

Here's the order
On Nagrra roll 116A
- George quits
- song "A Quick One While He's Away"
Then we have Rolls 117A through 122A and Rolls 108B through 111B where they play various songs.

Here's the crucial part
Then we have - simultaneously missing rolls 123A and 112B

Later they pick up with Rolls 124A and 113B and play Sun King, Dear Prudence and then they talk some more.

So yes, I do believe Michail Lindsay Hogg's very strong memory that they had a big discussion about George Leaving on Friday and it may very well be on those missing rolls.

Why are they missing? Perhaps they were confiscated by someone at the time because of their sensitive nature.

Again - both the A and B rolls from the same time are missing - on the day that George quit.

Just a tiny correction: he's saying George quit on Friday 10 January, and that the so-called lunchtime tape was in fact recorded on the following Monday, 13 January (and most probably not at lunchtime either).

tulirepo wrote: Thu Nov 25, 2021 7:12 am this list is a great find! actually, we knew of it, sort of. john recites most of it during the last performance of Dig It (29.39). He starts reading this list at 3:24 into the song and repeats it twice with slight variations in the alternate titles. Another interesting detail is when Peter says, that John crossed Across The Universe out because it was to be on an EP. Peter thinks John must have been wrong and that he meant an LP. Not necessarily. Maybe John hinted at the never-to-be-released Yellow Submarine-EP that was to have ATU on it?
I can't identify the last crossed out song. Please help me.

The photos from the mysterious Apple session in February that Peter Jackson mentions towards the end of the conversation ... they (or some of them at least) are to be found also in the old Get Back book that accompanied the original Let It Be LP box. There is one shot from behind Ringo that shows some notes put up on some sort of board to the left of the drum set. unfortunately they are illegible due to the grainy quality of the print.

I think it was either verified or just speculated that they were dialogue from The Magic Christian which Ringo was working to learn.

How much would we all pay for a special edition Apple Corps branded iPad with the interface software and A/V clips that PJ was showing off?
