WOW!
So THAT'S what they sounded like!
Thank you!
WOW!
Thanks Doug. I think there's only four episodes known to exist from the 1963 series so it is very fortunate that The Beatles one was among them. Gerry And the Pacemakers are in another.Doug wrote: ↑Mon May 29, 2023 10:23 am It's always great to have the rest of the show. This one is mostly comedy, not music... but still...
Here's the log of what was played. This doesn't match what we actually hear. "I'll Love You Tenderly" isn't listed, for example. Most of the other music is just small bits played during the comedy routines (which make up most of the show).
01 Love Is Like A Violin (Orchestra)
02 (patter) (Ken Dodd, Judith Chalmers, John Laurie, Percy Edwards, Wallas Eaton, Peter Hudson)
03 Sonata For Solo Violin No. 4 (Bach) (Yehudi Manhuin) (record)
04 Scotland the Brace (World Champion Pip Band, Belfast) (record)
05 She Loves You.aiff
06 Playoff / Comic Playoff No. 2 / Imperial Echoes / Skater's Waltz (Orchestra)
07 With A Song In My Heart (Andre Kastalanetz And His Orchestra) (record)
08 1812 Overture (Tchaikovsky) (Philharmonia Orchestra) (record)
09 Let's Twist Again (Chubby Checker) (record)
I think they play them from time to time.jpgrcat007 wrote: ↑Fri Jun 02, 2023 5:24 am Love to get the 3 other 1963 shows, especially Gerry & The Pacemakers or any NEMS act
