Hang on... I'm having real trouble grasping this...

I share a project, which then gets downloaded and released on cd in Japan by someone, and then other people buy those cds, rip them and upload them?

It's a crazy world out there.

Not just your projects. Empress Valley have also issued the Hours of Darkness set previously posted on the BZ site by Maxwell Edison.

It’s only recently that the label has ventured into Beatles releases. Previously Empress Valley issued Led Zeppelin sets, while the sister label Mid Valley is the home to Eric Clapton releases including some very fine Cream, Blind Faith and Dominos boxes.

An exception to the Beatles recycling programme is the As Nature Intended box which is something to behold. All of the music is available elsewhere but the presentation is something else. I’ve heard a bit of this and there is a version of one of the Get Back acetates in quality that way surpasses anything I’ve heard before.

As Nature Intended. Pretty neat, but at circa £200 it’s one for the aficionados.

I remember seeing a boot like that here, also the leaflet says "Adults Only" which made me laugh.

"Adults Only"?

Does it come with a poster of Two Virgins or something?

It was only a matter of time till the PC Police invaded Bootlandia.
Personally, I'm still waiting for the radio ban on "Hey Jude." Or an auditory edit.

The truly freaky part to me is that they have the gall to get mad about some recordings being posted which were already posted...without which they wouldn't have had access to them in the first place. Please pass the baked ouroboros.

Well I have to say they do look nice. If I had anywhere to put them and they were sending them to me free, I would enjoy having them on my imaginary shelves. But I wouldn't play them. Who is this Lord Reith person anyway?

I’ve seen the As Nature Intended set and it is pretty special with a booklet, poster and postcards. The best bit is the mini sleeve reproductions of the different variations of the Get Back albums, each holding a different acetate version of the planned album. I didn’t recognise the sources for this set, it doesn’t look like anything that’s been posted here and the bits I heard were very high quality - on a par with the official stuff.

That warning is really hilarious. They don't own the recording or the artwork. They have no legal ground. It's like a barking dog with no teeth.

I just had a good idea for a business. Completely fake boxed cd sets!

Things like, The Beatles Live At the Cavern, 1961. You'd have the slipcase and the nice 100 page booklet, and maybe some collectible cards and very nicely silkscreened discs. With an imaginary tracklisting designed to daze the most jaded collector. Except that the discs would be blank. There'd be nothing on them. You'd just keep them on your shelves to look at.

Seriously, these would sell! How many times have you bought a dvd or cd and it just sits on your shelf gathering dust, sometimes with its shrink wrap still on? There is a market for this. Not music, but collectible fodder to stuff your shelves with.

Well I'd buy them anyway.
