"You Know She Really Got Me Bloody Good"

Post by Kusaywa »

I'm surprised at the amount of articles, old and new, that form their own opinion on what John is singing on Don't Let Me Down during the Rooftop Concert. http://webgrafikk.com/blog/streaming/th ... whats-new/
Well, I've never heard anyone quote him as saying "You Know She Really Got Me Bloody Good" in his best scouse accent.
I don't think this was a mistake, that he forgot the lyrics... I think it was intentionally done.
My opinion, anyway... Thoughts?

I'm still trying to explain to everyone that John is actually singing Ha'penis Is A Warm Gun!
Nobody believes me!
I'm just glad that Paul's influence on Don't Let Me Down was short lived!
Hey, it's the Get Back sessions...poetic license would be too formal.
I think Twickenham might have been fueled by some high grade alkaloids from the Coca plant!
But, where would that come from?
Los Angeles, maybe!

It's at 2:05. I buy your interpretation! Paul got a smile out of it too as I recall.

Fret not, KC...I believe you.
It's the line about "I feel my finger on your trigger" that convinced me.

On the same note, to me in Fuh You Paul is not singing

I could stay up half the night, playing with your head

But

I could stay up half the night, playing with your hip....
