Oh it's real alright.....what a petty little man doing that to a widower....she had no knowledge it was a bootleg....very sad!

While I can´t believe Eric would be cheap enough to get personally involved in this, I think it´s unacceptable that he would allow his name to be attached to this without doing anything. It´s sad.

i would have to think there is more to this than a single cd
i would have expected a take down order and deletion of the sale by ebay
and a nasty letter to the lady and that would be it

a lawsuit makes me think there was more involved

The issue here seems to be that instead of just saying "it's a fair cop" and taking the ad down, she foolishly challenged it in court. That is why the costs were so high

What did she expect to get out of this? Somebody had to have complained to eBay about it in the first place.

It is more about label company rather than about Mr. Clapton. It was not his initiative!

Why would anyone get lawyers in so they could sell a cd for a few bucks. She's either mad or very very stubborn.
