Funnily enough this IS the same source I got in 2017. Mind you I only got the song but it shows it's been kicking around for a long time before it wound its way back to the Beeb. Glad it did though.

It's always great to have the rest of the show. This one is mostly comedy, not music... but still...
Here's the log of what was played. This doesn't match what we actually hear. "I'll Love You Tenderly" isn't listed, for example. Most of the other music is just small bits played during the comedy routines (which make up most of the show).

01 Love Is Like A Violin (Orchestra)
02 (patter) (Ken Dodd, Judith Chalmers, John Laurie, Percy Edwards, Wallas Eaton, Peter Hudson)
03 Sonata For Solo Violin No. 4 (Bach) (Yehudi Manhuin) (record)
04 Scotland the Brace (World Champion Pip Band, Belfast) (record)
05 She Loves You.aiff
06 Playoff / Comic Playoff No. 2 / Imperial Echoes / Skater's Waltz (Orchestra)
07 With A Song In My Heart (Andre Kastalanetz And His Orchestra) (record)
08 1812 Overture (Tchaikovsky) (Philharmonia Orchestra) (record)
09 Let's Twist Again (Chubby Checker) (record)

Potentially a bit disappointing then in that we get no 'new' Beatles versions. Also none of the Beatles are named as being in the chat section. Hoipefully there'll be something Beatle wise we can consider as being new to us.

I guess it's great that this stuff keeps resurfacing at all.

Thanks Doug. I think there's only four episodes known to exist from the 1963 series so it is very fortunate that The Beatles one was among them. Gerry And the Pacemakers are in another.

It's true there is nothing new Beatles wise here for us, but it is mighty reassurring that these tapes - from a home taper now long dead - didn't find their way onto a rubbish tip but back onto the radio. I wish the same could always be said.

Love to get the 3 other 1963 shows, especially Gerry & The Pacemakers or any NEMS act

I think they play them from time to time.

I think they play them from time to time.
I also collect any Artist & Band Brian Epstein's NEMS managed

like Cilla Black, Swinging Blue Jeans, Billy J. Kramer/Dakotas, & Gerry & the Pacemakers
Moody Blues, Paramounts [Procol Harum], The Cyrkle, & others, I can't think of
Luckily, I'm trying to get most BBC's 'Top Of The Pops', & anything else that sounds good
