For what it's worth, I have never bought from Beatfile, and this confirms that I never will. Your work on these forums was always appreciated--especially in bringing attention to Neil Innes' output--and the circulation of your projects will be missed. Can't say I blame you, but for what you have put out, thank you.

That really sucks. In groups like this you'd expect it to be a "Fight Club" of sorts. I was in a similar forum of Joy Division fans and we had to dissolve the group because of people selling sources we uploaded.

I should've known. Beatfile mines this site (and before it, BootlegZone) for material. If you post something of your own creation here, they're going to steal it from you and sell it.

I know the frustration. The part that really sucks is we won't get to hear any of the other creations you've done. That bums me out.

this should not been a topic in beatlegs which is open to all
if it had been placed in other artists it would only be accessible to members and may have cut down on
the "theft" from the rutles of their material

I find it unacceptable for someone to have the work you have, share it with us and someone to take advantage of it by selling it.
I'm sad that you won't be posting anything anymore because I like the Rutles a lot, but I understand you perfectly.
