some recommendations:

Under the Offset/Speed tab:
uncheck "Overread into Lead-in and Lead-Out"
click OK
I set everything as suggested but I could not find this setting option.

That's the one. Foobar2000 wants compliant cue-sheets, so append gaps to next track instead may be a good idea. Other settings are in line with masterjedi's.
I've read a lot of forums about this option. That doesn't seem like a popular setting. It seemingly only affects the way Foobar2000 handles the CUE-sheets. Also, I could not find that setting in any menus. I'm ready to start ripping today so any input would be appreciated.

Great! I would love to help but I never ripped anything so I have no experience.
Don't forget, I'm with you in the dark.

On my EAC under the Offset/Speed tab there is only speed selection. None of the other items in your image are present. I did a test rip and on the Extraction logfile it states "Overread into Lead-In and Lead-Out: No" so it looks like it's set correctly by default. I would still like to know why those options are not showing up in that tab for me.
