Very interesting EMI England took these American Capitol albums for export. One would want to know how that came about. Did Bruce Spizer write about this in his Parlophone book?

The other EMI export albums were:
The Beatles (White Album) Parlophone P-PCS 7067/68
Yellow Submarine Odeon PPCS 7070
Abbey Road Parlophone PPCS 7088
Hey Jude Parlophone P-CPCS 106
Let It Be Parlophone P-PCS 7096
Magical Mystery Tour Parlophone PCTC 255 (yellow vinyl)
The Beatles (White Album) Apple PCS 7067/68 (white vinyl)
Abbey Road Apple PCS 7088 (green vinyl)
Let It Be Apple PCS 7096 (white vinyl)
Beatles 65 Parlophone CPCS-102

Stupid question, but what does "tube cut" mean? How were these produced/manufactured/mastered/whatever different from subsequent pressings?

By then Parlophone was still using tube-driven amplifiers to create the lacquers (which are the basis of the record manufacture), while Capitol was already using solid-state. Meaning these cuts were the only tube-cut releases of these albums. If it pleases your ears is a different story, as Parlophone used the US stereo masters or even a dub thereof.

Thank you a lot for this FAB CD! Could you please share other 'tube' CDs that you have?
Searching hard for missing Silent Hills, Non Plus Ultra, WWII, Xavel, Shakuntala sets, fresh Misterclaudel/Valkyrie/Piccadilly.
Also searching hard for FAB CD / DVD releases (solo ones are priority). Ready to trade FAB DVDs with those who trades.

Thank you for this explanation!
