It was a Kevin Howlett production, probably some time in the second half of the 1990s. I only have extracts on tape and don't know what it's called. In fact I've never seen any mention of it anywhere. Would love to hear the whole thing.
There was a Beatles At The Beeb broadcast on BBC Radio 2 1996.

Could it be this one from 1996? The Sixties At The Beeb ?

Alan Freeman searches the archives for some unique s made by the A-Z of British pop. Amongst the gems discovered are rare Beatles tracks not heard for over 30 years. Producer Kevin Howlett

I've not heard it or got it in my collection I'm afraid.

I did a "search" in Some Old Interviews V5.0 on Kevin Howlett.
Maybe this can help.

Oh, I think that must be it! Thanks!

Confusingly, it bears exactly the same name as an earlier and entirely different BBC series hosted by Andy Peebles. :x

Now, who out there actually has it? :) The two-hour Alan Freeman special, not the Andy Peebles series? ;)

There is a horrible quality streaming version here: but there must be a better one out there somewhere!

Here's a BBC doc from 1987.

The Stereo Sequence: The Beatles On CD

hxxps://we.tl/t-BLXIObeJDc

I can't find mention on this anywhere, not in the Some Old Interviews collection or the BBC Genome site. It's from Feb 1987 and was part of 'The Stereo Sequence' and features George Martin going through the first four (mono) CD releases. It's 2 x 30 minute sections. As usual, if anyone has a better/cleaner copy then feel free to post.

Thanks for sharing this. I remember the Stereo Sequence on Radio 1 back in the day when they only had so many hours of FM transmission a week. This show was also around the time of the transition from vinyl to digital CD which Radio 1 made a big thing of at the time. Who remembers Bruno Brooks the “Compact DJ”, who’s entire show was played from CD.
