Thanks, and thoughts!
Are these tape transfers or from vinyl? I just starting poking, but in Not A Second Time, you can hear a pop at about 34 secs. in. And the waveform just before the start of random tracks is wavy and noisy, like an LP transfer. Drive My Car is mixed more like the 1965 version or MFSL BC vinyl (vocals panned R) as opposed to the 2009 USB (closer to center), with this HDCD version being hotter than all others (super EQ'd or something).
In Roll Over Beethoven Ringo's ride sounds like a thousand little knives! Except in the middle where it backs off before it returns again (maybe this section was an edit?).
Anyway, these sound quite good and are perhaps one of the better vinyl transfer treatments. On SHF they imply Ebbetts or MFSL have something to do with these (?).
