Unsurpassed Masters Vol. 1, 2 and 3 (1990 Unique Tracks)

Post by cliftdean74 »

**Original information from 2011 download**

The Beatles
Unsurpassed Masters Vol. 1, Vol. 2 and Vol. 3
Unique Tracks (1990)
UTCD 001, UTCD 002, UTC 003
Silver Disc -> EAC/Accuraterip/Tradershelper -> FLAC
Audio -Multiple Sources
Artwork- Cover (front and back) - Tray - Disc - Multiple Sources

Don't be fooled by the title this is not a clone of the Yellow Dog release , but a unique master with additional
bits and bobs , albeit very minor. In 2003 when I reviewed this disc it was a Core Title which Doug Sulpy had not even seen or heard.

Unfortunately each CD is ripped as a single track.

I've got all 3 already split into tracks, except I have no artwork for Volume 3.

Give me some time to upload them.

Here are the 3 volumes, not tagged to my liking. I might correct the tagging some day...

The best thing about this release was that it didn't have NoNoise applied. If I'd known at the time I would have bought it, but thought it was a knock-off of the Yellow Dog.

Thank you! This was actually posted a few years back but many new people would have missed.

Yes, a largely unfutzed tape for a change.

The noise reduction on the Yellow Dogs is either heavy handed or outright destructive. Funny how they have been placed on a pedestal.

Since these single track versions are ripped directly from the silver pressed discs I'd love to have them split into individual tracks. Thanks also to Yves for posting his!

And we shall compare the ffp files from both (my upload and yours, they might pretty well be the same source.

Thanks for the share cliftdean74! Here's your silver rips transcoded into separate tracks from the cue files using XLD. 8-)
