The end of the tape states that the narrator is 'Dave Cousins' and was broadcast on Piccadilly Radio (Manchester, UK). I can't find any other info about it.

I found info on another episode of Rock of Ages here. It looks like it was originally aired on BRMB Radio.

I thought it was on here, but I couldn't find it. But I also have a digital copy of it, so if you were planning on doing a needledrop I don't think you have to (unless you just want to).
Thanks for your offer to share. I will check my external drives and if I don’t have it will let you know.

The '14' part series was rebroadcast in 2010 on BBC Radio 6. I have copies downloaded from Iplayer at 160k MP3. Are there any better quality copies about ?

Thanks for this Piccadilly Radio show. It's great.

The first two George Harrison interview segments come from BBC Radio "Scene And Heard". This David Wigg interview was from 1969-10-08.

The written text of this interview you can find in Ashley Kahn's book "George Harrison On George Harrison".

Keep on the good work.

Greetings from "Some Old Interviews V5.0" workgroup.

For your information, I have a first generation 13 cassette recording of all 13 parts of the 1973 BBC broadcast ‘The Beatles Story’, this was the transcription discs broadcast. The ‘Lennon Tapes’ are the US transcription discs of the Peebles interviews. If forum members want any in their collection, I’m quite happy to supply.

The remainder of my collection is pictured here.....

Here's No.2 - Birth of the Beatles

This is a recording of Allan Williams & Bob Wooler being interviewed. No clue as to the source, whether it was a radio broadcast or not. It's from the late 70's as no mention of John's death is made. I concur with his views of Liverpool in that period and the total lack of interest in the group. The first time I took a trip there was in 1977 and it was such a miserable place. The only 'Beatle' related artifact was the Arthur Dooley statue in Matthew St. On the plus side, I did get some photos of the Jacaranda & Blue Angel (not called that at the time) and 'NEMS' was still there, albeit as 'Rumbelows Incorporating NEMS). Anyway, I digress.

PS. I de-clicked this file as there was quite a lot of clicks & pops from the record.
