The switch from the duophonic master to the Record Club true stereo master came during the later runs with the orange labels circa '77-'79. The switchover MAY have taken place in different plants at different times, however... but in my experience you're good with purple. Orange is hit or miss.

Hey, Gang -
Well, yet another Friday is upon us, friends. Dost thou knoweth what that means?
IT'S *PRISTINE* BEATLES DAY!
Now we're getting into that heavier, later period that everyone seems to like so much these days. I have to admit, back when I bought these specific LPs, I wasn't a big fan of their later stuff. (That partly explains why these LPs are all "pristine." ) I clearly remember telling a family member that I didn't like anything "after they started to grow long hair." Live and learn, right?
Anywho, here's a great rip of a true classic of an LP - Revolver. This one's considered to be the best LP ever made, according to some of those self-appointed "experts." I don't know how much consideration they've given to Naughty Songs for Boys and Girls by Barry Louis Polisar, but...
Enjoy!
