Re: Beatles at Candlestick Park 08-29-1966
Does it cut off at the end (Long Tall Sally) at the same point as before? That should be something of a giveaway. Which makes me wonder about the alternate recording that supposedly surfaced that contained the full Sally--was that ever determined definitively to be real or fake? Yep, same LTS cut-o...

Re: Beatles at Candlestick Park 08-29-1966
sync both recordings together and see if the new source even comes from the same show. It just sounds like someone found a tape that was made by someone that made their own mix of the show. If anyone has an old Radio Shack $35 reverb system from the 80's you can replicate the sound of that new sour...

Re: Beatles at Candlestick Park 08-29-1966
No, I think that's a fake. The real tape doesn't have all that digital delay and reverb: https://tinyurl.com/expires-3rd-may (from a Purple Chick release the name of which escapes me) Hmm... it might be premature to label this tape as a fake. The people who've put this out have an otherwise great r...

Beatles at Candlestick Park 08-29-1966
A fresh 2021 24/96 transfer purportedly of Tony Barrow's tape just popped up on a tracker... started to listen to it... it's good.. might be a bit harsh compared to other transfers, but also amazingly cleaner in some sections. You're going to want to listen to this :) dereferer.org/?hxxps://we.tl/t-...

Re: Misheard Beatle Lyrics
I used to think the first line of Don't Ever Change was "You never wear a such up lace." Yes, that makes no sense whatsoever but I thought maybe it was some women's thing (the line is actually "you never wear a stitch of lace") Ha! Until I saw this, I always thought the line was...

Re: NEVER BEFORE SEEN Yellow Submarine 3D Disney Remake
Thanks for sharing this KitsuHitsuyy, by seeing these animation screen tests (and understanding they are just that, similar to a design wireframe) no wonder this movie was cancelled, just looking at the Beatles faces and the blue meanie desing is just unbearable (and mainly was one the reasons movi...

Re: A Hard Day's Night from Top Gear (with solo)
The way I did it was to discard the edited-in section and replace it with the second verse from earlier in the song ("You know I work all day..."). I then spectrally erased the vocals and inserted the spectrally isolated solo from the FUTY version. Voila! :ugeek: On the record George Mart...

Re: A Hard Day's Night from Top Gear (with solo)
Count me among the curious as to how this was patched together. I'm amazed what people can do nowadays. My guess is that - obvs, LR removed the cv piano & guitar piece that was overdubbed onto the Top Gear AHDN - he added onto it George's guitar part from solo from FUTY #4 - but I'm still puzzle...

Re: AROUND THE BEATLES
For quite some time, I had a super 8 print of Shea Stadium, which I had bought through the mail in this 1970s. It did not have an Apple logo at the beginning, so I’m presuming it wasn’t legal! It was a pretty decent print, good color, just slightly fuzzy. Helped me learn how to play bass! Apple mig...

Re: READY STEADY GO!
A couple of years ago the missing opening section of RSG 1 was aired on the BBC. It shows the beatles being wheeled out on a platform by fans as they play the first part of Twist And Shout. Anyone got that handy? Here 'tis! hxxps://we.tl/t-kmrqVHNlbM Thanks! I haven't seen this before. It's almost ...
