Re: Penny Lane (new remix multitrack)

The existing mixes are pretty much perfect mixes IMO.

The 2017 Giles Martin remix despite being over-EQ'd (easily fixable) is probably the best version mix-wise (ie, panning and balance) and I usually dislike most of his remixes.

Re: Get Back “The Martin Mix” bootleg

Maybe some spectral wizard could add de-verbed versions of the Martin mixes of the single. I posted my pretty good versions back at BZ but would like to hear newer attempts with other software.

I bet that could be upgraded and expanded with some of the great spectral work done recently.

Re: EVOLVER (formerly "Two new ones")

Love these stops on the Magical Mixing Tour.

"Something" is so good I would have assumed it was a real stereo mix.

"Revolution" is mind blowing.

Re: EVOLVER (formerly "Two new ones")

I ran "Tomorrow Never Knows" through one of those auto-separate websites and it pulled vocal out just enough so that it could be panned around a little in a remix. The result was not great though but maybe someone with better tools can do better (hint). On the actual multi-track the main l...

Re: EVOLVER (formerly "Two new ones")

Lord Reith in your explanation of “Aerial Tour Instrumental” you talk about experimental overdubs. Through your work how could “I Am the Walrus” and “Tomorrow Never Knows” which use special effects be mixed? With "I am the Walrus" the mono mix contains a radio sweep added LIVE during mixi...

Re: EVOLVER (formerly "Two new ones")

I wonder if the jazz ending of Fying was originally going to be part of the film like background music of the strip club scene and then they changed it to a band on stage.

Re: Four new ones

The separation on "A Day in the Life" is amazing. Whatever your work flow is it's producing great results.

Re: Complete Recording Sessions NEW UPDATES (Vol. 1 available now)

The tracks that were removed were bonus tracks, mostly from modern remixes and re-edits. Thank you. Non-vintage (modern) remixes should stay out. O-U-T spells out. I worry that revisionist and fantasy versions will pollute future bootlegs. This should be an archival project IMO. I understand though...
