Re: 94.7 KMET Promos
Archive dot org has a whole bunch of KMET on-air stuff, as in shows and such. There's bound to be some bumpers in there; kinda like panning for audio gold. The kick for me are the commercials. SO dated. Yet so cool. Certainly a time trip down the ol' rabbit hole. hxxps://archive.org/details/kmet-fm-...

Re: 94.7 KMET Promos
Found a compilation online...It was embedded audio which I "procured" and used the cheap route to create a YouTube post.

Re: Magical Mystery Tour - Remixed and Remastered
I am amazed to see this album consistently placed near the bottom of The Beatles' ranked albums. I'm not sure why the hate. Is it seen as a sequel to Sgt. Pepper, with more the same? Insane. Hard to imagine a world without "I Am The Walrus", "Hello Goodbye", "Strawberry Fie...

94.7 KMET Promos
In Los Angeles, until Valentine's Day, 1987, there was a little station called KMET on 94.7 FM. Little Bit Of Heaven 94.7, KMET, Tweedle-Dee They used to play bumpers before and after songs which were emulations of the bands they featured, such as The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Cars, Yes, etc....

Re: Get Back: Part 1 - thoughts and reviews
After watching Part 1, I am looking forward to the middle and end. It is typical PJ to create a break between the first two parts right as George bails. I am happy to finally see the additional footage which certainly shows that all was not glum. There's a lot of goofing around and lighter moments. ...

Re: Get Back: Part 1 - thoughts and reviews
Can you imagine what John and Paul could have accomplished if George wasn't such a wet blanket all the time ? Hell, Pink Floyd played Pompeii a couple of years later and the Dead played the Pyramids. I've really come to see George as a Debbie Downer. Sorry to hit you up again, CC.... This is probab...

Re: Get Back: Part 1 - thoughts and reviews
Now I'm the direct opposite, and I'll tell you why. I was born December 1962. I grew up with the Beatles in my home. I was spinning records myself before I could read. I went by the Capitol labels, album covers and single picture sleeves. But my mother didn't buy Revolver through Let It Be (except ...

Re: Get Back: Part 1 - thoughts and reviews
I've downloaded the first two parts but have not watched yet. I am a bit hesitant as this was a period in their career, the winter of their discontent, which sees them not only apart, but not really coming together. I have the image of Let It Be so deeply burned into my psyche, I suppose, that it ma...

Re: DeMix Pro 3
This kind of software is cool. I've heard its benefits no doubt in various posts on this forum. It'd certainly be a lot more convenient and appealing if it were available as standalone software as opposed to a subscription service. And another thing.....and sorry to offend. The number of available B...

Re: Alpha Omega 8-tracks
I have one of the Alpha-Omega sets on Vinyl. It's seen some love over the years. But, ultimately, it's just an inferior pirated collection. I dig, though, that its release pretty much forced the release of the red and blue sets.
