Re: NEXT Peter Jackson Beatles film(?) project

My first thought was allowing him to use his audio technoology on the Star Club tapes . He made a reference to them in one of the podcasts he did that came out during the Get Back launch. George and the other Beatles have disparaged that tape so much, but if he can do to those taoes what he did wit...

Re: NEXT Peter Jackson Beatles film(?) project

I've just been sent a memo from one of Peter Jackson's assistants... The new biopic will be called Tonsillitis! The Musical and will be a 3 hour musical extravaganza written by Howard Goodall about Ringo's stay at Middlesex University College Hospital (or Middlesexy University College Hospital as i...

Re: Official Album SURVIVOR (Round 4)

Listening to Lord Reith's remixes (Abracadabra and his remix of the Please Please Me outtakes) makes me appreciate them even more. I'm into Please Please Me again now :D

Re: Badfinger "Baby Blue" (1972 Apple Records Acetate)

Ditto, what a great-to-see poster! Love it . . . also, commenting on the acetate it occurs to me that there is also an "original mix" which Apple has released. Someone mentioned it was the single mix—at least we know there are three versions out there: original mix, LP mix and single mix. ...

Re: AI for track separation

The "good versions" of the Candlestick tape are actually better than one would think. You can hear the vocals, guitars and drums. It also has that "stadium" sound with cool feedback coming from the guitar amps after a song ends. Paul sings some beautiful background Indian flouris...

Not to complain, but Disc seven seems to be missing track 13. Does anyone have this? Thanks!
Very nice set, thank you. Yes, I'm missing track 13 from disc 7 as well.
