I'm thinking about the Velvet Underground rehearsals that were only played at the Andy Warhol Museum and were never supposed to get out.
They got out. Perhaps this will, too, because if you can hear it, someone's going to figure out a way to record it.

Re: Beatles episode of The Ken Dodd Show to air!
It's always great to have the rest of the show. This one is mostly comedy, not music... but still... Here's the log of what was played. This doesn't match what we actually hear. "I'll Love You Tenderly" isn't listed, for example. Most of the other music is just small bits played during the...

Re: Geoff Emerick stolen 6/6/1962 tape coming to an end
We all know what the outcome will be. There is no question that the tape is EMI property and the notion that it somehow isn't because they didn't want it anymore is nuts. It'll go back to Abbey Road and into their vault, and maybe one day we'll hear a twenty second extract in a 2 hour BBC special. ...

Re: Whisky Flat concert - Philadelphia '64 or not?
About 15 seconds before "Twist And Shout," John says "Hello," and in the background Paul says "Hello, Philly, hello, hello." It's not very distinct, so I can see why different people would hear different things. All of the Philadelphia footage I have is silent, so if so...

Re: A Future Word of Caution - A.I. Generated Music & Vocal Models
A.I. is to music as a love doll is to a woman. Some people might enjoy staring at a blank, white wall, too... that doesn't make it art, that just makes them deficient.

Re: A Future Word of Caution - A.I. Generated Music & Vocal Models
When i think of the incredible strides that were made in music between about 1940 and 1980 and then I look at the progress made in the past 20+ years, it's clear to me that the music industry has totally lost the plot. From a mainstream point of view, it's just a constant regurgitation of a few the...

Re: O-AI-SIS The Lost Tapes Vol. 1
Well, I may be shot for my comment but I’ll stay put on these AI so-called wonders. After the drum machines, the « vocalizes » and the gigging holograms, that’s too much for me. Let’s be natural. Hmm. I wonder if AI could replace the Rutles vocals with John, Paul, George and Ringo... :shock...

I just looked at mine and it looks fine (it's a U.S. issue).
