Enjoy https://tinyurl.com/pwcw9zw9 The whole 5 episodes in one file. Chop it up in Audacity if you want them separate. Episodes are about 13-14 minutes long with about 5 seconds of silence in between. Not to be seen as the story or history of the Beatles , more the phenomenon that were The Beatles ....

Re: SGT. PEPPER'S LONELY HEARTS CLUB BAND: NIMBUS SUPER CUT

Somebody mention my name ? I was lucky enough in the 1980's to read the hi-fi magazine that sold the Nimbus pressings. I ordered 4 in total and think they cost about £8 each - quite expensive at the time, but quite an investment in hindsight. Sgt Pepper Band On The Run Wish You Were Here Breakfast I...

Re: Old TV programmes

Another Paul interview. This is the Russell Harty Show from 1984. My VHS copy was missing the last couple of minutes so I tagged on a youtube sourced clip on the end (the youtube versions have edits/cuts because of copyright issues). You'll see the join just before the Frog Chorus clip. I also tagge...

Re: Old TV programmes

This was the very first thing I ever recorded on video tape....my parents had just purchased a Hitachi toploader. I also had a Tube feature on Dezo Hoffman's home movies on the same tape, I seem to remember. Just for you, here it is. Dezo Hoffman on The Tube from around 1984. 16 minutes long and so...

Re: Old TV programmes

I recorded this from the TV back on 29 October 1983 when I was 13. I transfered it to DVD a while back and it's on my 'Mark Jones Beatles Video Collection Vol.6'. This isn't my source though as it's about half a second longer at the start. Mine is 15:32 in length compared to the 15:21 this version ...

Re: Old TV programmes

Here's Paul & Linda on the Noel Edmunds Show in 1983, promoting 'Say, Say, Say'. It's 15 minutes long and not bad quality for the time. I've seen a truncated version of this on youtube but this is much better quality. Not sure if it's appeared on Beatleg DVD etc but you can't have too much of a ...

Re: THE LOST '65 SINGLE

These posts bring back lots of memories. My first bootlegs were LP's of Abbey Rd NW8, Hahst Az Son & Spicy Beatles Songs bought from an 'adult magazine' shop in Manchester. Lots of under the counter stuff in there but I was young and innocent and only interested in the bootlegs. Around the same ...

Re: Old TV programmes

Here's George from 1985. It's a BBC Newsnight item about Handmade Films and features a George interview and a few clips from some of the films made by Handmade. My copy was missing the intro so I borrowed this from another source - you'll probably see the join at 3:20. Hope it's new to some of you. ...

From ballet to classical. Here's Paul with Ghosts of the Past * which features the making of the Liverpool Oratorio from 1991. Seems like yesterday but it's 30 years ago ...... :o
