OK, I'm calling it out as fake news. Tell me I'm wrong. Apart from the fact that the bass in the news story looks small and flimsy, not like a real Hofner, I can see the bridge is in the wrong place. I don't believe it's the same instrument.

There has long been a rumour that it was taken during Get Back. Macca will have packed it away afterwards - he only kept it as a back-up, prefering his 63 model if ever he used a Hofner. So it was out of the public eye - but the story concerns the same instrument.

That's great footage of the Iveys. I think the workman and step-ladders are being used as props. There doesn't seem to be any paint on his brush! Also no dust sheets on that brand new green carpet. It's great to see though. Looking forward to seeing vol 2 of your "All the available footage".
