so if I understand it correctly , none of the tracks from all three compilations are in stereo , they're all mono ? , are they perhaps stereo tracks folded down to create mono ? Thank you.

I had Celluloid Rock many years ago , buy not anymore and I've never heard the Private Reel from John Barrett , so I've nothing to make comparisons , or maybe I'm thinking about something called Rockn' Reel ?? , I don't know ... Thanks and have a great day.

I've been thinking a lot about the many various incarnations of this topic and with the basket full of different releases , some at different speeds , some incomplete , some re-worked into stereo and remastered , what is now judged to finally be the very best issue ? , at 70 my ears probably aren't ...

I wouldn't mind giving those a listen , I didn't know that it had two different releases ? Were the track listings changed at all between the two different issues ?
