Re: SEVENTEEN (+ EP#1 & 2)
Thanks guys. More later today. Before Matchbox Mrs Sutcliffe will be Astrid. The mother never went again to Hamburg. Did Astrid actually call herself "Mrs Sutcliffe"? That hadn't occurred to me. I dont think she ever called herself like this - but this sounds in my ears like a Beatles-joke.

Re: SEVENTEEN (+ EP#1 & 2)
Hi - I think I missed one version.
I have Kaempfert and Bambi.
"I remember you" lacks the Lennon echoing Paul at 0:55 what appears to be very strange.

Re: Split Personality Mixes (6-7)
The vocals are incredible clear - I would prefer the backing track a bit louder

Re: Star Club photos & interesting stuff
The transcript i have in my book is slightly different to the one in the CD sets. I hope Peter has my book but I dont know. If he hasnt he should contact me. With demixing I have been able to greatly improve the intelligibility of the links. So i will have to post a revised transcript. OK - I will ...

Re: Star Club photos & interesting stuff

I'm about halfway through the Peter Jackson podcast and pretty much every word is worth the time to listen. An extremely fascinating conve...

Re: Star Club photos & interesting stuff
Ah, the cats out of the bag then I see! Yes Peter bought the tapes from Larry earlier this year, hence my remark about knowing they wouldn't end up in a dumpster. I said I knew where the tape was, I didn't say Larry had it. Here's what happened. A few months the back we were discussing the ta...

Re: Star Club photos & interesting stuff
Never seen that pic of John before with the female vocalist. John had a bionic pinky when it came to rock n roll rhythm guitar. Good to see a pic with that pinky firmly in action. She sang with all Group on bootleg there recording her with Kingsize Taylor and the Domino’s Ted said she play mean gui...

Re: Star Club photos & interesting stuff
A few more pix . . . and it sure must have been fascinating to spend time with Kingsize Taylor talking with him about the Hamburg days. The Little Richard image has Billy Preston on piano. Several images of Jerry Lee have Richie Blackmoore on guitar. There are so many images of the Star Club around...
