You passed with flying colors.

(Or colours, if you're British.)

(Or bolours, if you're British but can't say the letter "c" due to a trauma you suffered when you were a sbhoolboy. )

Re: Idea for a Beatleg Book

I'd be interested. Such a book would have more lasting value than a "core collection" book, simply because items previously defined as "core" have been displaced by newer items that "outcore" the earlier ones. One thing I'd caution is that such a book would need to real...

Re: Belmo's Beatleg News books

Something interesting I noticed...

The double issue, Vol. 1 No. 9/10, is pages 61-72 in the Vol. 1 Contents PDF.

After that we have Vol. 2, No. 12 (pages 73-88).

Did issue #11 not make it into the bound volume, or was there never an issue #11 for some reason or another?

Re: Live at Stowe School, Buckingham, UK (NEW Full Recording, April 4th, 1963)

The people who buy the cds are a completely different lot to those who download. That is a proven fact by the amount of cds in Japan that are simply downloads of stuff on the internet. It's the physical item people want. Not necessarily. There are people who download, that also appreciate the secur...

silver_2000, who started this thread, was the "someone" who bought it. He said so in the very first post in this thread.

Re: Industry Researcher Has Never Seen So Many Disc Releases — the Majority Bootlegs

Now people are literally throwing away all their cds and dvds so that they can stream it online with the justification that it is cheaper in the long run. I don't understand the logic. They've already paid for the CDs and DVDs they're throwing away, and now they're spending more money to stream it....

Re: Morecambe And Wise Show - Colorized

This is one of the few British TV appearances that is in excellent quality. If memory serves me right, Paul once said that the Beatles on Morecambe and Wise was his all-time favorite TV appearance. Don't remember where I heard it so unfortunately I can't cite a source. not going do skit song You're...

Re: What are the very best Beatles live bootlegs?

Just wanted to ask the larger Beatle community what they consider to be the best Beatle live bootlegs, that have not been officially released by apple Best, in terms of sound quality or performance quality? For example, I remember reading somewhere, sometime during the 1980s, that the 1966 shows fr...

Re: Morecambe And Wise Show - Colorized

I'll repeat what I said about your "I Feel Fine" video: if I didn't know any better, I'd think it was actually filmed in color, not colorized! In this case, however, the very beginning and the end, and a slight glitch at 1:08, gives it away. Otherwise - well, your username may be silver, b...
